Cuyvers Katrien

Prof. dr. Katrien Cuyvers is physical therapist and doctor in the Educational Sciences. Her PhD focused on “Unravelling medical specialists’ self-regulated learning in the clinical environment”. Katrien is working as a guest professor didactics in health science education, and she is post-doctoral teaching assistant methodological seminars at the University of Antwerp, Belgium (Antwerp School of Education). She also teaches guest lectures didactics in health science education at the University of Brussels (Department of teacher education). Further, Katrien is working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Spaarne Hospital (Hoofddorp, The Netherlands). Her research focuses on self-regulation of workplace learning (SRwpL) and how to facilitate SRwpL, in particular of (future) healthcare professionals.
