Olivia De Ruyck
Olivia directs Work Package 1 Proof of Concept, where she makes the link between prototype development and scientific research. She has a background in Industrial Product Design at Artesis (2002-2007) and Marketing Management at Vlerick Management school (2007-2008). She then gained experience at home and abroad as an innovation consultant for international companies in various fields: telecom, FMCG, energy, medical, government, aviation, media, etc. Today, as a researcher at imec-mict-Ugent, she focuses on the domain of user research and the design of "smart" IoT products.
