PhD Promotor WP5
KU Leuven
Sanne Peters’ research career started at the Melbourne Royal Children’s Hospital Education Institute in Australia. It was there that she gained interest in the interface between health and education. Her PhD explored strategies aimed at improving the transfer of learning in the training of general practitioners at KU Leuven. During the past years, in her work at ebpracticenet, and as member of the Implementation Working Group of the Guidelines International Network, she is focusing on practice-oriented research projects. Sanne also facilitates bottom-up change processes that aim to increase the uptake of research into primary healthcare practices. She is the co-supervisor of Vasiliki Andreou’s PhD on assessment in medical education.
