Kick-off meeting VLIR/UOS project IQ-GEAR (2022-2027)
The Kick-off meeting of the interuniversity VLIR/UOS project IQ-GEAR (2022-2027) took place on 17/10.
The aim of the project is to create a Network in which joint initiatives are taken to improve the quality of PhD programmes.
Under wide interest, the 4 sub-projects were presented. The SCAFFOLD project is part of the first subproject, which focuses on PhD competences and the programme. We will take on the ePortfolio component. During this first week, we developed a project plan and drafted the vacancy for a female PhD student. It is planned that this researcher can start 1/1/2023. Mieke was in Ethiopia for the first time. It was a unique experience to meet so many expert professionals under the leadership of Bruno Levecke. A solid network has already been built over the past decades, the intention is to expand the network and SCAFFOLD would like to contribute to that.
