Ellen is a doctor-specialist in gynaecology-obstetrics training at Ghent University. She conducts research into the development and validation of a competence framework for the Advanced Master's degree in specialist medicine in gynaecology and obstetrics. Ellen is supervised by Prof. Steven Weyers (promoter), Prof. Tjalina Hamerlynck (co-promoter) and Marieke Robbrecht (support from the project).
Justine is a midwife who, following her master's degree in nursing and midwifery, is currently following the educational master's at UGent. As part of her master's thesis, she will look into which functionalities of the SCAFFOLD ePortfolio can also be applicable and useful for novice healthcare professionals and thus contribute to their continuous professional development. She will be supervised by Dr Mieke Embo (supervisor).
Ilse will do a master's thesis as part of the educational master at UGent in the framework of the SWE project 'digital skills level 5 and 6'. Her intention is to validate the online course with undergraduate students and in the professional field. She is supervised by Prof Mieke Embo (supervisor) and Lucie Van de Looverbosch (co-supervisor).
Jules is a master student in nursing and midwifery at the UGent. As part of his master's thesis, he will conduct research on e-learning and mentoring: training. He will be supervised by Dr. Mieke Embo (promotor) and Sofie Van Ostaeyen (co-promotor).
